หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : The Effect of Curing Parameters on the Mechanical Properties of Styrene-NR Elastomers Containing Natural Rubber-Graft- Polystyrene) ผู้เขียน:ดร.ธาริณี นามพิชญ์, รองศาสตราจารย์, Polchit Buakaew สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractThe copolymerization of styrene on natural rubber latex was prepared by an emulsion polymerization using potassium persulfate and sodium laurylsulfate as an initiator and emulsifier, respectively. The vulcanization characteristics of styrene-NR elastomers were studied using moving die rheometer. The effect of vulcanization on styrene-NR elastomer containing natural rubber-graftpolystyrene was investigated in accelerated-sulphur curing system containing 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5 phr of sulphur with various temperatures ranging from 130 ?C to 160 ?C. Increase of tensile strength resulted from an increase of the crosslink density of vulcanization when compared to uncured sample. Furthermore, the accelerating action of temperature in curing system could be confirmed by increase of curing rate index and rate constant. The value of activation energy of the cure reaction could be calculated as 72.278 kJ/mol. |

หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Utilization of Different Curing Systems and Natural Zeolite as Filler and Absorbent for Natural Rubber/Nitrile Rubber Blend) ผู้เขียน:ทัธชาวรรณ ศิริยงค์, ดร.วิรัญญา แก้ววัฒนะ, ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractThe effects of the vulcanization system and natural zeolite loading on the mechanical properties, thermal and oil resistances of a natural rubber (NR) and acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber, also known as nitrile rubber (NBR) blend in the ratio of 20:80 was studied. The vulcanization systems used in this study were conventional vulcanization (CV), effi cient vulcanization (EV) and peroxide vulcanization. The amount of natural zeolite fi lling added was varied from 0 to 60 parts per hundred (phr). The vulcanizates cured with the CV system gave the greatest tensile properties; however, they showed the lowest thermal and oil resistance. Greater thermal and oil resistance was observed in the vulcanizates cured with dicumyl peroxide (DCP). Moreover, the tensile strength and 100% modulus of the vulcanizates increased with an increase in the natural zeolite loading, while there was no substantial change in the compression set. The oil resistance in both diesel and biodiesel blends of the vulcanizates was signifi cantly improved with the natural zeolite content. The vulcanizates containing 40 phr of natural zeolite cured with peroxide showed the lowest swelling and the highest relative tensile strength in oil (diesel and biodiesel). As well as the oil resistance, the optimum mechanical properties were observed in the vulcanizates fi lled with 40 phr of natural zeolite and cured with peroxide. |
หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : The Development of Rubber Compound based on Natural Rubber (NR) and Ethylene-Propylene-Diene-Monomer (EPDM) Rubber for Playground Rubber Mat) ผู้เขียน:บุษยา รัตนสุภา, ดร.วิรัญญา แก้ววัฒนะ, ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractThe development of rubber compound for playground rubber mat by studying the effect of light-colored fillers on cure characteristics, mechanical properties of natural rubber (NR) and ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber blend was investigated. It was found that at the same filler loading (100 phr), CaCO3 filled-rubber showed the lowest cure time (tc90) and also the best mechanical properties compared with other fillers. At various filler loading (50, 100 and 150 phr), rubbers filled with CaCO3 and natural zeolite at 150 phr both showed the lowest cure time and highest hardness, but CaCO3 displayed the lowest values of tensile strength and elongation at break. In addition, the influence of the vulcanization system (conventional vulcanization (CV), semi-efficient vulcanization (semi-EV), and efficient vulcanization (EV)) on the mechanical properties of the 100 phr CaCO3 filled vulcanizates were investigated and discovered that the CV system showed the highest mechanical properties. |
