หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Biodiversity of Freshwater Protozoa in Thailand) ผู้เขียน:นายบพิธ จารุพันธุ์, รองศาสตราจารย์, นางนันทพร จารุพันธุ์, รองศาสตราจารย์ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractFreshwater protozoa in Thailand have been investigated in different provinces of northern, eastern, northeastern and southern parts of Thailand from 1982 till 1999. The total of 166 genera and 259 species found were identified as 36 genera and 72 species of Phytomastigophora, 9 genera and 11 species of Zoomastigophora, 23 genera and 38 species of Sarcodina, 2 genera and 2 species of Labyrinthomorpha and 95 genera and 134 species of Ciliophora. The diversity of protozoa in each part of Thailand had no difference from those found in the central part. These species of protozoa in the central part that had been studied for years were used as a database for those investigated in the other parts of Thailand. Two new species of protozoa were first recorded in this part of the world, Neobursaridium gigas was found around the roots of water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) and Loxodes rex around the roots of duckweed (Spirodela polyrhiza) and common duckweed (Lemna perpusilla). |

Faecal sampless were collected directly from goat rectums during September 2004 to January 2005 and examined for eggs and cysts of internal parasites by using formalin ethyl-acetate centrifugal sedimentation method. Most of the examined goats were cross-bred goats (Thai native and Anglo-nubian breeds). The prevalence and intensities of detected helminth parasites and cysts of intestinal parasitic protozoa were paramphistomes (rumen flukes) (9.22%), Eurytrema pancreaticum (0.84%), Moniezia expansa (2.23%) Moniezia benedeni (8.38%), strongylids (93.85%), Strongyloides spp. (7.26%), Trichuris spp. (6.42%), Entamoeba cystss(71.23%), Giardia cysts (2.51%) and unsporulated coccidian oocysts (43.30%). Common helminthic infection of the goats in Saraburi province was infection of goat strongyles. Most helminthic infected goats harboured two or more species of helminth parasites. |

หัวเรื่อง:โพรโทซัวและแบคทีเรียในดินบริเวณรากพุทธรักษา แสม และสน ผู้เขียน:Ptumporn Muangphra, Arunee Sommani สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf Abstract Bacteria and Protozoa from three soil sources; first from Canna sp. near the Faculty of Science, Silpakorn University, Nakhon Pathom, second and third from Avicennia sp. and Casuarina sp. at Samutsakorn Province were analyzed. Each soil source was collected from rhizosphere and bare soil. The quantity of bacteria and protozoa were carried out by plate count method and standard dilution method respectively. The result showed that, in each soil source, protozoa and bacteria from rhizosphere were highly significant difference from the bare soil. Each rhizosphere gave the different growth for protozoa. The Canna root stimulated amoeba growth better than flagellate and ciliate. The Avicennia and Casuarina root stimulated ciliate growth better than flagellate and amoeba. |
หัวเรื่อง:การสำรวจเชื้อโปรโตซัวและปาราสิตในเลือดของสุนัขในเจตจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ ผู้เขียน:ดร.สถาพร จิตตปาลพงศ์, ศาสตราจารย์, เสาวนิตย์ ทิพย์เสวก สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractSurvey of 185 blood samples of pet dogs from Samut-Prakan province were examined for blood protozoa and blood parasites. The percentages of infection were Babesia canis 7 samples (3.75%), Hepatozoon canis 4 samples (2.16%), Ehrlichia canis 26 samples (14.05%) and microfilaria 25 samples (13.51%). The mixed infections were also found as follow, Babesia canis and Ehrlichia canis 2 samples (1.08%), Hepatozoon canis and Ehrlichia canis 1 sample (0.53%), Hepatozoon canis and microfilaria 1 sample (0.53%), Ehrlichia canis and microfilaria 7 samples (3.78%) and Babesia canis, Ehrlichia canis and microfilaria 1 sample (0.53%). Age of animals at the time of the survey (Single and Mixed) was 2 years to 5 years. |
