The target groups were community leaders and religions? followers selected by a purposive sampling. Data were collected on the ground of local activities using a semi?structured interview schedule. The results showed that 1) cooperations of religions? followers were at a high level both among the same and between different religions; 2) exchange and acceptance of traditions and cultures among different religions were evidenced in regard to activities with governmental support; 3) the competition between religions was low; 4) a few conflicts were observed; 5) religions? followers undertook and upheld sermons and religious principles which are handed over by ?middle persons? called ?Toe E Mum? or ?Toe Kroo? or by monks; 6) community leaders played vital roles in bringing about cooperation between followers from different religions; and 7) government agencies worked as supporting pillars for connecting people from various religions. To enhance interactions among different religions? followers, the community leaders were seen to be a linkage for better interaction among people in community. In addition, local and sub-district administration organizations should work closely on planning activities that could address such an enhancement. |
