Rumen liquor was collected at 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 12 h and blood was taken at 0, 3, 6, 9 and 12 h after meal. Dry matter intake, ruminal pH, NH3-N, acetic, propionic, butyric acid and protein nitrogen were similar (p>0.05). The pH was lowest and NH3-N was highest at 4 h after feeding while VFA and protein nitrogen were peaked at 3 and 8 h postfeeding. Blood urea was significantly different between treatments at 1 h after meal (p<0.05) and peaked at 4 postfeeding and blood glucose was similar (P>0.05) and was high at 12 h postfeeding. |

There were no different in growth rate, feed intake and feed efficiency among 3 treatments. However, the conversion of feed to body weight gain of claves in treatment 3 during postweaning period was significantly higher than in the treatment 1 (P<0.05). The results are discussed in relation to a change that was observed intraruminally. |
