The main objective of this study aimed to determine the effectiveness of a psycho-behavioral training model on the occurrence of health promotion and disease prevention behavior in middle school students. A pre test-post test control group design provided an understanding of the extent to which psychological characteristics can have an impact on 271 middle school students in increasing health promotion and disease prevention behavior after training. The major finding indicated that middle school students who received psycho-behavioral training gained greater psychological characteristics and health promotion and also showed greater disease prevention behavior than the control group after training. It can be concluded that psycho-behavioral training can promote health promotion and disease prevention behavior. |
