Fifty-three courses were first randomly selected from courses offered in second semester of academie year 1982, and 3,171 students were randomly selected from those attened those 53 courses. The instrument used in this study was a questionaire concerning the effectiveness of instruction. There were 32 questionaire items. The reliability of this questionaire was 0.89. It was found that the teaching efficiency in all five areas of Ramkhamhaeng University instructors were at the good level. The analysis showed that there was significant difference in teaching efficiency among instructors in seven faculties but there was no significant difference in teaching efficiency between instructors who taught courses for freshmen and those who taught courses for sophomore or higher levels. Further analyses done to compare student rating of instructor effectiveness in teaching showed that first year students rated instructor effectiveness higher than those who enrolled more than four years. It was also found that students who expected to get G grade in the final examination rated instructor effectiveness in teaching higher than students who expected to get P grade of F grade. |

Three hundred and sixty four Kasetsart instructors were stratified and random sampling to answer the questionnaires constructed by the researcher. The results were as follows :- 1. Majority of Kasetsart University instructors had high in actual and expected morality. 2. Both male and female instructors had similar actual and expected morality on “to abstain from sexual misconduct with students.” This similarity was also found between those with different years of ages (not over 40 years, V.S. 41-50 years). While the over 50 years of ages instructors had high on “to abstain from using academic works in the improper ways and to avoid working in other professions that make the students have less respect on the instructors.” 3. It was not found any difference between male and female instructors in the actual an expected morality, but it was found the difference between those with different years of ages. The instructors who were 50 years of ages had actual an expected morality higher than those who were 41-50 and not over 40 years of ages. |
