หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Net Energy of Sweet Corn Husk and Cob Silage Calculated from Digestibility in Cows) ผู้เขียน: Boonlom Cheva-Isarakul, Boonserm Cheva-Isarakul, Somkid Promma, Stang Pumisutapool สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractSweet corn husk and cob (SC) which is a residue of sweet corn cannery contained 19.75% dry matter (DM). The nutrient composition on DM basis was 6.86% CP, 3.21% EE, 3.97% ash, 70.89% NDF, 35.61% ADF and 15.07% NFC. The silage (SCRB) was made by mixing SC with rice bran (RB) on fresh weight 86:14 and adding 4.38 g of formalin/kg fresh weight then filling it in 2 layered plastic bags. After filling, the inner bag was vacuumed and tied while the outer was sewed. Each bag contained 30 kg. They were kept for 40 days before determining digestibility in 4 cross bred Holstein Friesian cows at nonpregnant and nonlactating stage. After a 14 day adaptation period, the cows were fed with the silage ad libitum for another 14 days followed by a 6 day collection period. Feed intake and faeces output were recorded and sampled for chemical analysis. Digestibility of nutrients and TDN were calculated while DE was also directly determined. ME and NE were calculated from TDN and DE using NRC equations (1988). The result revealed that SCRB was a good quality silage with 28.34% DM. The content of other nutrients on DM basis was 10.91% CP, 11.71% EE, 57.95% NDF, 28.87% ADF, and 12.28% NFC. The digestibility of these nutrients was 58.50, 56.26, 84.68, 58.97, 51.30 and 70.68% respectively. Nonpregnant dry cows consumed the silage on dry matter basis 0.91% BW or 41.81 g/kgW0.75. The silage had 71.31% TDN, 3.10 DE, 2.68 ME and 1.60 NEL (Mcal/kgDM) respectively. |
หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Beta-carotene, Mimosine and Quality of Leucaena Silage Kept at Different Duration) ผู้เขียน: Wanna Angthong, Boonlom Cheva-Isarakul, Somkid Promma, Boonserm Cheva-Isarkul สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractLeucaena leucocephala leaves (LL) were ensiled by mixing with 20% rice bran and 20% water (fresh LL basis). The material was kept for 21, 51, 81 and 111 days in vacuumed double layer plastic bags, each containing 26 kg. Five bags were randomly taken at each interval for quality evaluation by organoleptic test as well as by organic acid and chemical analysis. It was found that the ensiling period did not have much influence on most of the chemical compositions. All samples of leucaena leaf silage (LLS) had pH of 4.4-4.5 and 35.22-35.65% DM (dry matter). The compositions on DM basis were 21.49-22.29% CP (crude protein), 7.76-8.22% EE (ether extract), 31.18-33.68% NDF (neutral detergent fiber), 2.0-2.9% acetate and 6.9-9.7% lactate (DM basis). DM loss was 10.35-12.32% which was in the normal range for good quality silage. The most interesting points were the increment of ?- carotene after ensiling from 88.50 to 99.92-120.25 mg/kg DM while mimosine content decreased over 90% (from 1.79 to 0.12-0.16% of DM) which were superior to a drying method. It indicated that LLS is a good alternative for preserving LL and for reduction of mimosine. |

หัวเรื่อง:การศึกษาต้นทุนและผลตอบแทนในการปลูกหน้าวัวเป็นไม้ตัดดอก ผู้เขียน: Sompian Kasemsap, Boonserm VimuKtanandana, Aram Kuptametee สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf Abstract The result of the study indicated that, anthurium grown in bamboo lath house with cement floor, in case of including opportunity cost, average cost per unit was Bath 2.54 and average profit per unit was Baht 0.57. In the case of excluding opportunity cost, average cost per unit was Baht 1.93 and average profit per unit was Baht 1.18. the results of the analysis of rate of return on investment were summarized as follow. (1) payback period was 3.86 years. (2) net Present Value at discount rate of 7.25 % and 12.5 % were Baht 247,943.37 and Baht 96,133.52, respectively. (3) benefit cost ratio at discount rate of 7.25 % and 12.5 % were 1.32 and 1.12 and (4) internal rate of return was 16.63 % Anthurium gown in bomboo lath house with dirt floor, in case of including opportunity cost, average cost per unit and average profit per unit were Baht 2.25 and Baht 0.36. In the case of excluding opportunity cost, average cost per unit and average profit per unit were Baht 2.11 and Baht 1.00. The results of analysis of rate of return on investment were summarizes as follows. (1) payback period was 4.20 years (2) net present value at discount rate of 7.25 % and 12.5% were Baht 133,460.41 and Baht 20,498.00, respectively. (3) benefit Cost Ratio at discount rate of 7.25% and 12.5% were 1.21 and 1.03 and (4) internal rate of return was 13.61% It could be concluded that the yield and the return on investment in anthurium grown in bamboo lath house with cement floor were higher than those grown in bamboo lath house with dirt floor. |
