หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Effect of Succinic acid 2,2- dimethylhydrazide (SADH) on Head Formation of Off-Season Thianchin # 23 Chinese Cabbage) ผู้เขียน: Chamnonk Uthaiburt, พีรเดช ทองอำไพ*, นางสาวอริยา คุโณทัย, อาจารย์ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractThe effect of SADH was studied in relation to head formation of off-season growing ‘Thianchin # 23’ (Brassica compestris L. ssp pekinensis) (Lour) Olsson) Chinese Cabbage. Plants were treated with 1,000 2,000 and 4,000 ppm SADH four times at every 4 – day period after they were transplanted for 30 days. It was found that SADH treatment largely increased total fresh weight, head weight and heading percentage as compared to the control. Plants treated with 2,000 and 4,000 ppm, SADH at 2,000 and 4,000 ppm increased 3-fold in head weight higher than the control. The heading efficiency (head weight : outer leaves weight ratio) of the SADH treated plants was about 3-fold higher than the control. |

เกษม พิลึก, รองศาสตราจารย์ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractThe effect of SADH on Chinese cabbage (Brassica pekinensis cv. Tienjin # 23) grew during summer was studied in relation to head formation.SADH at 2,000 ppm was applied by foliar appli?cation to Chinese cabbage after transplanting 20, 25, 30 and 35 days for 1, 2, 3 and 4 times at 5 day? interval. It was found that head weight of Chinese cabbage was maximally increased up to 41.67 % over the control, when one SADH application was given to Chinese cabbage after they had been transplanted for 30 days. The effect of SADH on the number of inner leaves, outer leaves, lateral shoots, length of core and chlorophyll content was discussed in relation to mechanism of SADH on heading of Chinese cabbage. |
หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Opening Bud-Cut Standard Carnations Following Truck Shipment from Hoghlands to Bangkok ) ผู้เขียน: Saichol Katsa, พีรเดช ทองอำไพ* สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf Abstract‘Red Sim’ and ‘White Sim’ standard carnations were cut at bud stage from Chiang Mai highland production site pulsed and packed wet with silver thiosulfate or Physan-20 plus sucrose before shipping by truck to Bangkok. After arrival, they were opened in bud-opening solutions containing various concentrations of benzalkonium chloride plus sucrose. The best pulsing and bud-opening solution was found to be 200 ppm Physan-20+5% sucrose and 300 ppm benzalkonium chloride+5% sucrose respectively. Use of pulsing and bud-opening solutions with bud-cut carnations produced large blooms with short opening time, high percentage of bud opening and long vase life. |

หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Effect of Silver Thiosulfate Pretreatment on Vase Life of Cut Carnation Flowers after Truck Shipment) ผู้เขียน: ดร.สายชล เกตุษา, ศาสตราจารย์ , พีรเดช ทองอำไพ*, Tringtae Siripanich สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractThe effect of pulsing solutions on vase life on cut carnation flowers was studied. Carnation flowers were pulsed in well water, 10% sucrose, Chrysal solution, 34 mg/1 AgNO3 + 397 mg/1 Na2 S2o3.5H2O + 10% sucrose, 68 mg/1 AgNO3 + 794 mg/1 Na2 S2o3.5H2O + 10% sucrose and 136 mg/1 AgNO3 + 1588 mg/1 Na2 S2o3.5H2O + 10% sucrose for 18 hours at Chiang Mai production site, then packed dry and shipped by non-refrigerated truck to Bangkok Carnation flowers pulsed in the solution containing 68 mg/1 AgNO3 + 794 mg/1 Na2 S2o3.5H2O + 10% sucrose had the longest vase life of 4.03 days while the control had vase life of 2.05 days. Inprovement wet having their stem bases wrapped with cotton during transit. |
สายชล เกตุษา, ศาสตราจารย์ , Vichit Vangnai สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractLocation Effect on Strawberry Quality1 Suraphong Kosiyachinda, Manit Kosittrakul , Peeradet Tongumpai, Saichol Ketsa and Viehit vangnai2 ABSTRACT Tioga strawberries were harvested on March 19 - 22,1983 from 3 different growing areas. They were Chang Kian, Intanon and Mae Sai. The study was conducted daily and shortly after harvest. Right after harvest strawberries of Intanon had over 2% SS higher than those of the other two areas with 5.65 and 5.14%. They were highly significantly different. The TA were 0.75 - 0.95% in both stages. It was not statistically different within the same stage. Similar pattern was found in full color fruits and SSITA ratios. Flesh firmness of Intanon strawberries was 2.16 kglcm2 in the first day. It was firmer than that of Chang Kian and Mae Sai, but at full color stage their values were slightly different (1.04 - 1.29 kg/cm2). Data indicate that Tioga strawberries from higher elevation areas tend to have slightly better quality. It was confirmed by organoleptic test. However the fruits have their own characteristic of low % SS and comparably high % TA. The taste is not palatable, if strawberries are eaten as they are without any seasoning. |
