The structural properties of Co-Cu mechanical alloys with different atomic cobalt to copper ratios were studied by X-Ray Absorption Spectroscopy. The results from Co K-edge XANE analysis revealed the component of cobalt-containing phases, which reasonably related to the starter Co/Cu ratio. Thermal behavior of these phases was investigated by Time Resolved XAS, and the results exhibited the correlation between Co/Cu ratio and phase transition of cobalt-containing phases in the prepared alloys.
