The results indicated that diameter of white spear was 14.6 mm. with 16.7 cm long, while grade A, B and C of the green spear was 10.7, 7.3 and 5.9 mm. with 29.7, 29.4 and 30.2 cm long, respectively. The fiber content of white spear, green spear with grade A, B and C was 1.52, 0.68, 0.94, and 1.29 percent, respectively. The results also indicated that the fiber content was lowest at the distal end and increased steadily to the basal end. |
