This research report presents the design and development of machine readable dictionary. The proposed dictionary is designed for easy and efficient utilization by several accessing methods. This research also introduces 3 algorithms of data compression. The results of the compression are about 100 : 38.38 for Table – Table – Linear Search Algorithms, 100 : 48.27 for Table – Index Search Algorithm and 100 : 42.00 for Tree Structure. The proposed system also allows the user to manipulate and to modify by adding, and editing. |
