The amounts of strontium nitrate used as a dopant were varied by 0, 10.0 and 30.0 mol%. The La1-xSrxFeO3 powders were obtained by calcination of metal-organic complexes at 850?C for 4 h and then were characterized by FTIR, XRD, SEM and BET. Based on semiconducting properties La1-xSrxFeO3 films prepared by spin coating were investigated for ethanol sensing. The results showed that 10% Sr(II) doped LaFeO3-based sensor, La0.9Sr0.1FeO3, exhibited the highest sensitivity to ethanol vapour with a minimum concentration of 100 ppm at an operating temperature of 300?C. |
